The concept of building relationships is one of the true paths to success in all businesses.  I believe this concept has influenced doTERRA to use the direct sales business model. It is clear that if you are sharing essential oils with customers, rubbing and sharing the oils will help you make that connection. The marketing method has worked so well that doTERRA to date has over two million wellness advocates. That is an amazing achievement in such a short amount of time. This again confirms that we as a culture are passionately searching for the health benefits of essential oils. The quick and simple answer is "NO!"

Yes, I get it

I recall my wife many years ago starting a MLM home jewelry business. I was a massive skeptic until I saw my wife bring in a 5 figure income every month. And still today I have to explain the difference between MLM and a pyramid scheme.
